I've never actually made a TUTU, especially for money. I usually do everything for free because I have a problem asking for money. Seriously... When starting a new job it usually takes me the first pay check to find out how much I'm making. I have finally gotten over that part of it and actually demand a higher pay at this time in my life.So! I see a post on facebook that is from my sister's old friend. She is looking for someone to make a tutu. WHY NOT?? I sign myself up and decide to make my first ever Tutu and matching bow. Not toooo shabby. So here is one of the first things on my list of "Things I can Do" You will get to meet all the other sides later. But here we go for my very first Tutu and bow that I actually didn't make any money on. I charged 35.00 as it seemed to be the going price, and I know I would not pay any more than that. By the time I purchased all the tulle and matching ribbon to make it the way I wanted it to make.. I would have to sale 2 of them just to break even after that trip to Hobby Lobby, but there was only enough Tulle for 1 tutu. Oh Well!! It was lots of fun. Hopefully she will get a few more ladies sent my way. Then.. I need to make business cards. But I'm not sure what trade to put on them?....................
